high street explosion

a few weeks ago i made a model of a small section of the high street of the town I live in (Lewes UK) and for absolutely no reason decided to blow it up today, the smoke simulation took an hour at least. the only part that i didn’t model is the car which I downloaded from tf3dm.


rendered at 100 and something samples, using branched path tracing as it produced about a million times less noise, it still took 7 hours to render, even though I set light bounces to 3(also took 3 attempts because new OSX Yosemite shuts down randomly).

feedback is appreciated, (i’m still a noob)
