Hologram modeling

i’m working on a model that requires a holographic keypad, and i’m not having much luck with transparencies that move all the through. anyone have any help?

Well…I am pretty much a noob, myself, but what about some kind of animated texture?

You could do a search in the game engine for water, and find a water that would work. Its animated and glows. Its from vimal

Is it for rendering or game?

why dont you just use z transparency or lower the alpha of the mesh?

If you try a plane with a semi-transparent texture of keys set out just a little from the surface of the keypad itself it would probably look like a holographically projected keypad.

I’ll have a go myself a little later and see if I can throw one together.
