I didn’t mean to hijack this thread. I saw S-T-S mentioned Star Wars hologram in his reply, so I added my post. I see members all the time adding to original posts and not being accused of hijacking. Example: The Jack Blenderson post. One member critiqued the texturing. Then another member elaborated even more by showing a tutorial on achieving realistic looking texture used on the Peter Cushing model.
Hey blendm8r, nice video, I remember that from a long time ago. I do agree with Blackboe though. Its no biggy but you could at least say something about my work instead of posting your own in my thread, lol. But ok. I’m trying to update some things on this but college finals are coming up for me… :rolleyes:

You’re absolutely right, I did forget to critique your work. Sorry. The overall concept is well executed and the hologram is very detailed. Almost too much, I would prefer to see it softened. Also, you may want to add interlace lines for more realism. Again, sorry I hijacked your post. Good luck on your finals.

This is a bit old for answering,but i just thought that id mention that holograms are made by two lasers and a bunch of other gear,not smoke(not anymore at least)so i dont think thered b shadows
