Homeworld Sci Fi animation - World Texture problem (space)

Hey i’m trying to make a homeworld animation with a space background.

I’ve made a image of stars to use as the texture of the world but it seems to distort the texture in certain places, 80% of camera angles work fine it just seems to be in a certain area.

Heres a video to show you:

00:10 (on the left)

00:15 (on the right)

See it ?

I have the World set to Real Sky and the texture is mapped to view (All other texture mapping options just don’t produce the desired result).

Any help with this would be much appreciated

Somehow your texture is getting stretched by the projection - Maybe you could replace the pic with something else to see more clearly what is going on. Have you considered creating a sphere and placing a map of the stars on that instead? If you used alpha textures, you could do several spheres, one larger than the next and get a paralaxing effect… maybe
