Well executed, but I don’t really like the light source. It just seems a bit unnatural, unless there’s a lamp above her.

actually it is supposed to be from a desk lamp. maybe i should put the lamp in the picture too, not a bad idea.

Why is the mother-in-law the only object to cast a shadow?

hey very funny stuff modron
another thing that i thought might be interesting is to have the shadow be more of a corner of a rectangle instead of as a circle.
this way it will look like a door to a cuboard is open and we are looking in at this tiny little woman

wouldnt we all love to shrink our mothers in law (or atleast are girlfriends mom)
by the way the woman looks like one of the people from the “far side” comics, good modeling their

How funny, looks to me like a good winning entry

thanks for the comments guys.

actually the springs and nails are casting shadows too, just not very obvious ones. i need to adjust the clip start / clip end a bit, but i don’t think i will be redoing it. though it is possible.

The springs look too thick compared to the nails. And what’s that thing coming out of the wall (where the two walls meet)? It looks like some sort of door handle :-?. Overall, though, good scene.

it’s a tack that is holding the wiring in place that’s running along the wall.

Very cool [!]
