Horse Kinematics References

I don’t know if this is the right place to post this, but I just found this site with the most reference material for this subject I have ever seen.

It has everything you could possibly need. From accurate diagrams and photos. To videos and the math behind a horses movement.

Wow. If only you could find something that good for human kinematics… I’ll post the best I could find in a bit.

Who cares about hue-mons!

Thanks for the link!

Great stuff CatBoy.

Oh yeah the horse rigi  I started to rotoscope the Geri video just to see the horse moving … haven’t finished. Have you done any animation with your rig?

Mike

Not really, I have been working as part of a movie project lately. Mostly modeling and rigging, but also some texturing.

Feel free to animate the horse all you want. Just do a good job, because now you don’t have an excuse with all this reference material:ba:. Just kidding;). They even cover gait changes, and lead changes.
