Hot key questions?

I have a few Q’s.

  1. How do you merge 2 objects together?
  2. Can you copy a UV map from one object to another?
  3. How do you link one axis to another?

  1. Ctrl + J
  2. Select the second object, then go into the UV Image editor and you will see a little bar with some text in it with arrows going up and down to the left, click that and find the uv map you want.
  3. Axis…?

ok so i was following this tutorial http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/BSoD/Introduction_to_Character_Animation/Mouth_and_head
and i got to the part that talks about clipping the view
what blender version is this available in?
i have blender version 2.48a
