How 2 link a lattice to a particle system

I’m sure that it will be very simple but how can i link a lattice to lets say a flock of birds. As the birds are emitted by a plane, i linked a bird to the plane. The lattice is linked to the emitter but the birds still move in their own direction.

1st, you need to parent the emitter to the lattice, not the other way around

2nd, latice effect on particles is more subtle and less evident than on meshes…
