it doesn’t look like people are trying to implement that at all
at the moment the physics are being reimplemented, and I think culling.

That are really good News. I didn’t know that saluk is working to add “Frustum” to the GE. In combination with the better Collision detection from “Solid”, i finally see Light at the End of the Tunnel. Does anybody know a approximately Date?

Whats Frustrum?
the view frustrum is essentially the shape of the boundries of the camera’s view
so, the 4 sides of the camera view, and the near and far clip.
frustrum culling is the process of not drawing what isn’t in that region
I remeber that PDF! I started to drool as I got into the STATES part… really nice!.. unfortunately, at the time, we have to get a working 2.3x game blender version working… that means… stable physics…
i really hope that the game engine functionality gets ported to the animation system.
I just tested the bf-blender build of 18 januari and I saw that the P is enabled again. I tried to run a game in it, but still some things don’t work, like key press, and some more, but I think we can use it in blender 2.32, so maybe it’s back then, euh I mean, I sure it is back at 2.32 (90% sure) So we’ll start a party then on gameblender irc channel.
