Yes not a great example, I just threw a file. The Eevee one is sharper and has a lot more reflections. But there is something I like about the Eevee next one.
I do expect a similar situation to Cycles/Eevee in that we will have to tweak the materials to get similar results. It is always better to make the materials in the engine you are going to use.
Eevee next is definitely no where near ready but I can see hope. 
we can not count it as a feature of 4.0 so this is a bit off topic.
