How can I achieve this kind of atmosphere?

All those images, except their creator, have something in common: some kind of hazy, dreamy atmosphere. Those were the best example I could find, but a lot of blender rendered pictures have this kind of felling to them(another good example is Sago’s “Curse of the Unreachable Booger”). I was wondering how to achieve this look?

Glow.

Blender’s video sequesncer can do this with the built in glow plugin.

or you could use photoshop\gimp, by adding a duplicated layer or the picture, then gaussian blur it and adjust the blend mode and opacity.

thanks! And I know it seems a little stupid but… where’s the glow button? I looked for it and didn’t find it! :expressionless:

Use the search, I think there are a couple glow tutorials.
