How can I change the length of hair along with the size of my character?

but when I attempt to reduce the character’s size, the hair’s size remains the same, making it look even larger :no_mouth:

This is my first experience using Blender, and I decided to create a character. Unfortunately, I am not well-versed in all the tools and basic concepts, so I made a mistake by not considering the size of my character. Consequently, the character ended up being much larger than anticipated. Now, I would like to correct this error, but when I attempt to reduce the character’s size, the hair’s size remains the same, making it look even larger. Is it possible to decrease the size of both the character and hair in the particle system simultaneously, or will I need to start over? I Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

You need to reduce the modeling size and initialize the Rotation and Scale. (Ctrl+A)
※ This part is needed to eliminate many expected problems.

Apply - Blender 4.2 Manual

After initialization, the length of the fur seems to be the desired size.
However, you may need to resize your fur.

Yes, but after “Apply”, the hair size is the same, it has not decreased with the model. If it has to be reduced in Particle Edit, then it will probably be easier to make hair from scratch?

If you just shorten the length, it’ll be solved.
If you didn’t like your existing work, it’s not bad to work on a new one :slightly_smiling_face:
