How can I create indents on my model?

Hi,

I want to create a bottel with indents (black ones on the image)

In the middle, you can see a similar photo what I mean.

My first think was “Displacement Map”, but it’s hard to create it realistic in Photoshop. My one looks like I was meld it by a soldering iron

Any idea how I can get this effect on my bottle?

inset and proportional editing with rotate locked in z axis is one way.
