How can I get good edge flow around pointy edges?

What is the best way to topologize this pointy edge so I have smooth edge flow around the shape and so that my loop cut will not just stop there but go all around the entire shape? Is it possible without having vertices that go too close to each other?

If you have to stay with this kind of topology and vertex ond the outer edges:

ah nice solution thank you very much. thank you! you mentioned “If you have to stay with this kind of topology”. Does that perhaps mean there is a better topology solution I could do? Could you maybe be so kind and share it <3

This may totally dpend on the purpsoe of the model… you have n-gons and the quads one the outer border may have a meaning… anyway this (for example) is all quad… but properly unsuited for your needs (?).

I don’t know exactly what you mean.
Whether to make it round or pointy…

There is no universal and perfect topology (or workflow), the perfect one is the one that works for the purpose. For example, if you need this edge flow because you will use a subd later, you could also think of using just a simple bevel (also modifier).
There are so many ways to achieve a goal, I also learn something new almost every day in Blender… :grimacing:
