I have a rigged character that I want to animate by importing an FBX animation file. I’m coming from 3ds Max and in Max it’s super easy (just one click): you can select the “update animation” option in the FBX importer. By selecting this option Max will add and update the keyframes of bones in my scene that has the same name as those in the imported file.
I can’t figure out how to do this in Blender. If I import an FBX file, Blender will always import it as a separate rig, and does not update the keyframes of the existing one.
Any solution?
