How can I increase point per curves when using hair after grooming/sculpting

I’d use ‘curves’ as a tag but there is no curves tag currently.
I groomed a giant forest with hair, but, I didn’t realize the point per curves were so low. However I am only able to decrease the point per curve in geometry nodes. I think resample curve worked by shortening the curve itself, which doesn’t help. This isn’t the old particle system. I tried going to the particle system and back but couldn’t get that to work either. Yes, it looks fine when meshed, but I can’t actually groom with as much detail because it’s only brushing the original points.
Is there something simple I’m missing? Thanks!
