How do I install Yafray on Linux?

If you have RedHat or SuSE you can install it from package manager (rpm) on RedHat, YasT2 on SuSE.

Debian you can find packages at yafray.org.

Other than those you will most likely have to down load and compile the source found on yafray.org.

I have Ubuntu…

So you can (safely, I think) use Debian packages. Get it from here:

http://yafray.org/sec/2/downloads/yafray_0.0.8-1noexr_i386.deb

and then type (as root):

dpkg -i yafray_0.0.8-1noexr_i386.deb

It should work.

I just used Synaptic, and it worked!
