How can I null default settings

Well how can I null default settings

What the hell are you talking about?

I case you mean returning to default values, you’re up the creek without a paddle. You have to do it manually.

If that’s it you need to find and delete the file .B.blend.
This is where the user defaults are saved.

In my XP box it’s in this folder:
C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender.blender

Please refrain from posting completely incorrect tips if possible.

Just delete the .b.blend like above.

And poster, please explain your problem better (with more details) in the future.

Don’t be so presumptious, SamAdam. What I was refering to, due to his confusing request (which he hasn’t explained so you can’t say you know better) was to reset all objects’ settings to their default values. I.e. the values at creation.
