How can I put creases in a polygon hair?

Hello there. I have a little problem.

How can I put creases in a polygon hair. The one you see in anime/manga style models.:confused:

Well, you could subdivide it a couple times and model the creases in… or you could go to the sculpt tools Without subsurf and apply multilers, then sculpt them in. Or you could β€œFake” it by creating a texture with alpha.

:stuck_out_tongue: problem with sculpting for you is that it might be too detailed. I would simply suggest you model the creases in.

Edit: why not just use a normal map? Probably the best results.
