the object was around 20 inches but I need to scale it down to about 1.5 inches for some uses. any way to scale the entire thing uniformly?
Do you want to scale the bump strength or the height texture?
I usually use bump strength 1 and keep the distance to the same as if I was using displacement. For values less than 0.001 (1mm), so pretty much always, I use x/1000 in a math node to feed it.
There appears to be displacement going on, but nothing is plugged into the displacement socket. So yeah, I have no idea what OP is asking about here.
