How can I stop a mesh disappearing when it has a particle system?

Hello

I’m learning blender from the book “Bounce Tumble and Splash”
I’m trying to make a small icosphere collide with a large icosphere causing the large icosphere to explode.
Both icospheres have particle systems.
The small icosphere is an emitter and large icosphere is a reactor
The whole thing runs fine inside the 3d Window, but when I render it the icospheres disappear and i can just see the particles.
How can I make the icospheres appear in rendered animation?

I am pretty sure there is a render emitter checkbox somewhere?

Thank you goosey

Your right in the particles section there is a visualization tab and on that tab there are some render buttons one of which is emitter, when that is pressed the emitter shows up in the render animation.
It also works with a reactor particle system.

Yes, here.

Edit. Too late
