How Do I Add another Bone or Something to Pose Middle of Arm?

Hi,

Does anyone know how to add a bone or something to the middle part of my robot arm to pose it better. I am using bendy bones.

maybe use 2 bendy bones, and in the middle put a constrain to limk it to a empty
