How do I attach two objects?

Hii
I am new to blender. And I was trying to create a human body with blender. But the problem is that when I modeled torso and head as separate objects I dot’n know how to attach the two objects. so that I can weld the vertices’s.

Please let me know if anybody has an answer. As well please tell me how to delete just one edge from the object. If I delete one edge it deleting the entire face. How do I solve this problem

To join any mesh, select meshes/objects and crtl+J

To Move human Body you many need Armature also.

If you have the two objects seprate and you want it to be one solid mesh, You can intercect the two meshes so that they look good and then having both of them selected:
Press [W]
Select Union.
This will create a new object that is the combonation of the two seperate objects.
WARNING: Using the union function generally creates bad geometry. If you use Union you may want to re topo the mesh.
This is a new function for Blender 3.43
