How do I avoid extruding the whole chunk?

Hi,

I was using B to highlight the right verticles and E to extrude them out. However, I extrude the whole thing out instead., how can I just extrude the two verticles, without dragging the other parts?Capture

ā€œEā€ should work as you expected. If it does not there must be something weird.
Can you check the key E is not changed to another function!?
