How do i connect pivot point?

I want to create a diagonal road with a 30-degree rotation

but it got overlapping
how do can I connect these pivot points to each other without gap or overlapping??

You may have a look at the curve modifer and also subdividing your street element to make it more “bendable”…

Why not just to change a distance or to fit vertices manually so that they wouldn’t overlap each other?

can you explain more?

it has a little gap

I want to use diagonal not the curve.

You need to either change the distance between them or fit your vertices. They will always overlap, even if they are at the same height on the Z axis. You just need to think about what you’re really trying to achieve. You want them to be on the same plane but without overlapping? It’s impossible in a few words. Fit their angles or change the distance between them.

You… have… to… look… into… the Curve Modifier…

It is best to use a curve when you’re making a road, especially if that road shouldn’t be a straight, but a curved one, with bends and all that.

how did you edit the bezier curve with an array like this?
I have only 2 default lines.

It’s in the image… an array modifer on the plane and an additioal curve modifer using the bezier as curve object…

sorry I mean how did you subdivide the array?

It’s not subdivided… he made a plane, added an array, then added a curve modifier and used the bezier curve as the source.

why do I not get any subdivide?

uncheck optimal display and switch to wireframe … you’ll see you did get subdivide on the object.

this is so curvy

how do I make it curve straight like a path?

update elaborate picture

You might have to elaborate what you really want… if the street should bend completely according to the curve then you have to subdivide… if not… then not… or you might even make up you own street parts and assemble them according to you needs… like so:

One for “bending” 15 degree on one side and one for both… or whatever you imagine ( and nobody of us can mindread )…

can you explain how did you do this?

I selected one vertex of the edge i wanted to rotate 15 degree; set 3D cursor to selected; also pivot point to 3D cursor and rotate the rest of the “street” by 15 degree…

…you might want to study some basic tutorials about manipulating 3D objects and faces, edges, vertices. Maybe starting by Blender → Help ->Tutorials… on YouTube there are also a lot of suggestions… or even search for this on any search engine… There are also a lot of tips in this forum and also a search feature ( top right :gear: )…
