How do I export UV image data to some other than .SVG?

In blender 2.5 you can only export as .eps or .svg, in blender 2.5 it is svg or tga. If you want another format you will have to open in a suitable image editor and export in the format you want.

take a screenshot & paste in an image program. that works too.
