How do i find out, when e.g. the bone groups were renamed to collections

With “when” i mean the Blender version.

So i am searching for something like:

From Blender version >= 4.1 it was renamed to collection (just an example, i have no idea when it was changed).

I would also be interested how i can find that out on my own.

Just search for something like “Blender introducing bone collections” or something. Since these sort of updates tend to attract attention, it’s bound to be in the news somewhere.

This particular piece of information is mentioned directly in the manual though.

Just search in the docu and select a former version:
It does exist in 4.0 … but not in 3.6 LTS…

Each version of blender includes release notes on what changed on the website; those are worth reading.
