I noticed that when I brush the fur on my seal certain hair strands tend to stand up, you can see it on the left snout and eye. When I fix them by puffing out the general area and combing it only causes them to stand up on other parts of the head.
Is there a way to keep all the fur at an even length?
After grooming with a small amount of hair, fill the blanks with the Children setting.

Animal hair does not come in one type. And each hair is different in length.
It’s usually a mixture of a few hairs rather than a single hair.
