How do I get to the Vertex Groups Panel?

Hi all,
Yup, I’m dumb.
I cannot find the Vertex Groups Panel and I think that may be the key to unwrapping a model.
Any help?

In the Properties window on the right side of the blender interface look in the Object Data settings (icon looks like a triangle or read tool tips)

Thanks!
Do you know if there is a way to scale a UV map?
All I can ind is the “S” key. But there doesn’t seem to be a way to increase the scale by an exact amount.

You can type the scale factor in after hitting the ‘s’ key.

Want it half the size? Type .5
Want it two and a half times bigger? Type 2.5

Or are you talking about something else?

Brilliant! Thank you very much.

OK…so I’ve found the Vertex Group window and have tried to remove several orphan/unused/unwanted vertex groups…I select their name and hit “remove” and nothing happens. The group remains. How do I eliminate a vertex group?

I suggest you read the tooltip to help understand what a button does. For the Remove button it says “Remove the selected vertices from active or all vertex groups”. It doesn’t say it deletes the vertex group. It’s use
d with the assign button to add/remove vertices to the selected vertex group.

Use the + button to add a vertex groups and the - button to delete the vertex group itself
