How do I install the direct X export plugin?

Hello everyone,

I have just downloaded the new DirectX 241-1 export plugin from the development area. This seems to be a .py file.

How do I install this Direct X export plugin?

I am looking for documentation. I can not find any ‘export plugin installation documentaton’ anywhere.

Put it into the directory: /.blender/scripts (for Windows. Linux and Mac should be similar).

Then when you run Blender, open a “scripts” window and in the pull-down menu select “Update Menus”. The script should appear in the list.

Another way to run the script is to open a “text editor” window and open the script. Right click in the window and select “execute script”.
