You can see on this image how bright the light from hdri is, it makes the image go almost white.
Is there anyway I can slap an image of the hdri above it but keep the light same, so the image that I want to put has normal colors?
Render Settings > Film > Transparent will keep the light but remove everything else.
I know that, but I want to put lets call it a neutral image that doesnt give light over the hdri, but do it so the hdri light remainss the same, just the image is over it
Setting it in the same way as the image controls the lighting and the background separately.
