I want to make a wall like in this picture(the house on the right):
How should I do this?
Do I have to model al the stones or will it work with texture.
With normal UV mapping the wall looks flat.
I’d say a combination between texture and modelling, Modelling for big ‘slopes’ or holes, and textures for details, with alot bump and displacement!
I would suggest that you model it with a plane, once you have got it proportioned right, I think you should separate all the different sections out if not done so far (eg) windows etc then extrude the wall slightly, UV map it and add 3 images, displacement, colour and spec to the wall and either bake the textures or render. It may render better in indigo…
