Hi. I am using several lamps in different places of my scene to brighten up all of the objects properly, i need one of the lamps to be accepted only by one particular object, so i dont want others object around to accept the light from that lamp . So how to make object to be influenced only by a certain light source in Cycles render?
Short answer, you can’t, not in a direct way.
The longer answer. In some cases, you can just separate your scene into different renderlayers and composite them together afterwards (see the renderlayers context and the compositor window type).
