How do I make games?

Can anybody tell me how to make a Game? :o I slightly know some the the Ge’s functions. But I need to know how to make a gun that can shoot, and a figure who can carry and fire that gun. Any help would be appreciated. :eyebrowlift:

Yeah, download a few of the many games/demos you see on this forum. Study them, and learn how they work, and ‘reverse engineer’ their hard efforts. Don’t copy their work, but learn from it.

But seriously, do tutorials on:

  • Pyhsics.
  • Game Logic.
  • UV Mapping.With those three aspects, you can create your game, give it life and make it look good!

Dude – read the stickies. There’s like eight of them, all brimming with tons of useful information. Tutorials, games, demos, the lot. Everything you could possibly want is contained in those things. So click on them and start learning!

Exactly. If you’re just starting out, do a few tutorials then download some games, that way you will base knowledge of the GE and can work out how the creator made the game.
