How do I make the image in blender a file?

i need help. i cant make the image of the scene in blender a picture file. i want to show my friend how good i did making a scene. :frowning:

In the Render settings (F10) in the format panel select the image format you want (jpg, png etc). Press the render button to render the scene then to save the image press F3 and browse to the location you want to save to.
