How do I make the image side of the UV Editing workspace show the currently selected texture?

I feel like it used to be that when I would click an object with a different texture, it would change the image on the left, but I have to manually change it from the drop down. Is there a way to make this automatically change?

In the shader editor node… when you click on a texture node, it automatically switches in the image viewer.
Perhaps try to add a window with a shader editor, side to the uveditor.
I’m not sure it ll work … but perhaps.
