I have spent the last hour trying to find an area to ask a question about blender and now I have to instead ask a question about asking a question. Please let me know how to use this site :?

Press the ‘Post New Thread’ button. Write your post and then press the ‘Submit New Thread’ button.
Press the Go Advanced option for more options such as attaching (paperclip icon) images/blend files etc
