How do I reset settings of old scene?

I’ve got a file which, apparently is pre 2.8 (still rocking that “Game Logic” tab). I want to reset all of it’s UI and rendering settings to defaults of 4.3.
I know how to reset UI but how do I reset all settings?

You can load a file without the UI when after File → Open in the Blender File Viewer at the top right :gear:(cogwheel)–icon disabling Load UI feature.

For rendering settings you might have a look at ( i once found something to load prefs from another file… but this may wasn’t it … )

Why not import the old scene into new Blender? Wouldn’t that be easier?
Or will that not reset old settings from the imported data? :man_shrugging:

How do i do this? I tried to place all collections but they lose structure

It might be that the scene structure iss too old for 4.x to import?
Other than that, open the file without the UI, and go in manually I’m afraid.
Unless someone else has a suggestion…

If you disable this setting, all files will open with the default UI.
You don’t need to change any settings.

If your blender file is too old, there are some features that are not supported.
※ Game Logic is no longer supported. The feature has been removed.
