What do you mean uneven? It looks fine, from the perspective you have the camera set to.
Remember, objects will appear differently depending on the angle you view them at.
Here is a link to a little bit about perspective. Yes, it’s wikipedia. But, it will get you dangerous.
Well, judging by the image I first wanted to suggest decreasing the camera lens angle, but after checking the scene, I’m pretty sure everything is actually fine. It seems that with the image it’s just a matter of perception - the lack of any details now prevents us from getting the right idea about the size of the door, we don’t expect it to be as wide as it is in the scene - that’s why the perspective doesn’t seem right.
It will look OK once there are more details in the scene, I’m sure.
To make the doorway look more to scale, the walls need to be thicker and the threshold lower. The molding around the frame seems a bit thick too.
For more standard architectural perspective, you may want to lower your camera and set it closer to horizontal.
Its the focal length of the camera. Change it to 35mm. Right now you have it set to an equivilent of 18mm which will distort the straight lines. Youll have to move the camera back a bit.
@tc2466
I was actually looking for the right perspective.
Thanks for the link.
@XArgon
It’s a double balcony door.
The idea is to have a double windowed door with one side open and the curtains blowing wildly,at the back of room there is going to be a bed of old style,on the right side of the door there is going to be a desk and a window behind it on the wall.Outside there will be a balcony,a dark sea,dark clouds and cold hard rain with some of it raining into the room through the open door.
Basically a sort of dark homey room at the top of a tall building for a child.
@CD38
Thanks,i’ll make the the walls thicker.
I will try and get the door arc to scale.
@Rich33584
Thanks,that’s exactly what i was looking for.
