How do I setup Indirect lighting in game?

I have seen quite a few tutorials about setting up indirect lighting for blender 2.5 but I haven’t seen any for using in a game. Is there a way to make something have like a neon glow to it?

Yes, you create a cylinder, give it a white shaderless material and put a point light in it.

i think combined with this technique you would have very good looking results (he has mentioned doing a tutorial, because i cant seem to get it to look at that good -.- )
