How do i turn a ring inside out?

So say i have a ring, with writing on the inside, and i want i turn the whole ring inside out (this is also useful for complex gears), so the writing is on the outside, How do I do it?

I think it’s possible because when trying to do tank tracks, i often i have to invert my bezier curve to get my tracks to orient correctly. I just don’t know what i need to do to apply that logic to an already circular object. When i scale to -1 it only inverts the faces because they are all symmetrical.

I feel like there’s a scaling trick that might work too but i feel like the bezier “rotate 180 degrees along a curve” is what i need to do to get the quickest results. (i tried the selecting scaling trick for a while and it was messy, and likely 3-4 hours to get it to work correctly. I’m hoping for a tool option that already exists to turn it into seconds).

If there’s a solution, much thanks!

forgot to mention that you also need to invert the text on the outside!

can you show some pic to clarify it may be!

happy bl

If you can model your ring as a straight cylinder, you could add to it a Curve modifier with a Bezier circle as the deform object. Then rotate your cylinder object around its (original) long axis. Is this what you meant by "the bezier “rotate 180 degrees along a curve” "?
