How do I unlink multiple text files from blender at once?

I’d like to essentially remove many unwanted text files at once, I have to remove 50 and it’s just annoying to remove them individually, how can i do this with more ease?.

(I’m using blender 2.78)

Go to the outliner, and change the display mode to Blender File, then expand the ‘Texts’, select all the texts, and then right click, then choose Delete.

Edit: I didn’t know you are using Blender 2.78. The solution is press B in the outliner, it will box select all items you want to delete, and right click then Delete.
