How do you make an object droop/curve naturally around another object

In the attached image there is some leaves I need to droop over the plant pot, does anyone have any suggestions?

The things I’ve tried are proportional editing, using cloth physics (it just falls off, even when trying to pin it in place) and a curve modifier which almost worked.

I’ve thought of spliting the set of leaves up into individual ones and using a curve modifier but I thought I’d ask on here first to see if anyone had any better ideas.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions :slightly_smiling_face:

Actually with cloth should work, make sure you activate collision in the other object.

How did you get it to stick?

I have collision activated on the other object but the leaves just make contact and fall right off.

Just pinning it with a weight group (1 or red=pinned; 0 or blue=not pinned).
If it didn’t work could be a bug

Interesting, I’ve never seen this before.

Could you explain what this is and how to do it please? :slightly_smiling_face:

Actually there are tons of tutorials out there that can explain it better than me
For example: https://youtu.be/zry4dFqVJ2g or search cloth pinning on youtube
It’s 2.79, but the principles are the same, if you have any question after seeing it, ill be happy to answer your questions.

Your advice along with that video has solved my problem.

Thank you very much for your time and effort, it is very much appriciated.
