I would like to know how to make a gun fire bullets so that it doesn’t run out of ammo. Also how to make other objects explode and break after contact with the bullet.

You will have a very tough time simulating high velocity projectiles with logic bricks.
It might be impossible.
If you know Python, then you can achieve bullet simulation by using the ray casting functions.
If not, then I recommend learning Python.
