How do you post an animation?

I am trying to build a simple web page so that I can display my Blender animation for the Works in Progress forum. I have a web page editor and a web site. I have no experience in web page building.

What I need to know:

1.) Is this the right forum to ask these questions?
2) If so, can I load the file directly to the Works In Progress forum?
3.) if not then how do you create a link on a web page for viewing / downloading the video? Does the video file get built into the page?
4.) Is there an easy to understand tutorial somewhere that explains this?

I just found another progrma called Webmaster 3 (Freeware) that makes it easy to do. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
You just had to put your movie into your web server like lycos, or free.fr or another. And after you make a link to your movie with the URL of your web server. like this : http://multimania.lycos.com/mysite/mymovie.avi
