How many of you play Runescape.
Not me, but I know the developers have visited here looking for 3D artists a few times.
I’m not much into online RPGs and I’m surprised that so many people are.
Check http://www.runescape.com/ and you can see there are tens of thousands of players playing at a given time.
What is it you find interesting about runescape? Is it the actual game or just that you can play with so many other people?

I second the motion.
I used to play runescape, in fact I was crazy about it, even going so far as paying for a Members account. Personally, I can’t see what is so bad about the models - they’re low poly, certainly, but it’s rendered in real time. Of course it isn’t as good as an MMO you would buy in a shop. It’s got better graphcis than, say, Urban Dead, isn’t it?
Still, why am I defending something I don’t even play? I must say that the continual grinding did get very dull… how ‘Zezima’ managed to survive for long enough to get that high I don’t know!
So, I’m mixed about runescape. And it is true that with free software, you can sometimes get what you pay for!
ROFL i remember zezima… i was crazy about him. I talked to him once in the game, he was rude as hell, so i decided i didnt like him. But yeh, the game is ok at first, but it gets very repetitive working up a skill, which is the only way to get cash.
MMORPGs are stupid and a waste of time…
MMORPGs are addicting yet frustrating. The only way to truly kick ass at MMORPGs…playing all day every day. So I used to play RS like nuts. I had a good character. Fortunate enough it no longer rules my life, but nowadays I’m just hoping to get a new computer some how. I use to be big on HL and the mods, but my computer is out of date.
