I have a question: How much should a 3D artist be paid for doing work like materials and shaders?
First it depends where on Planet Earth you live…
A percentage of profits if it’s your first gig,
and all else depends on your skill level.
Photo real + really fast = top dollar.
Crappy + slow = none at all.
Where do you rate?

@BluePrintRandom Yep, first gig. I can make photorealistic shaders, but I’m not the fastest at it. I’d say I’m in the photo real + fast category though. I don’t have any examples of my shaders, I suppose I should get that set up.
