do you think I could get for my computer. I don’t use it ever so I thought I might be able to get some cash for it.

Athlon64 3200+ (don’t laugh)
1.5gb ddr
80gb hd
7.1 turtle beach soundcard
ati radeon 1900XT 512MB
a dvd-rw and a cd-rw
oh, and the case is pretty spiffy too (one of those alien-creature things)

I haven’t kept up with computers recently and since these are odd specs, I couldn’t find anything pertaining to a similar set-up on the web.

i dont know about prices, but one good way is to check ebay.com see how much similar computers are going for.

dont sell on ebay, just use it to get a price, then add a little bit on to that. computers go for way less then they are worth there. if you need money fast, go there, if you just need a quote check to see, then add a little to that amount…

i guess how much you can get for it, is where you are selling it…but the pubic offer remains…

doesn’t look like i’m gonna get a lot for it. i was hoping at least $700, but damn, computers are so cheap used. i just spent about 350 on that new graphics card and i’ve never even used it!

maybe i’ll try it on craigslist or something for 800 obo. would anyone go for that? i have a 20" crt monitor to throw in too, along with a nice mouse and a few other goodies.

My personal experience: don’t bother trying to sell a computer, they have no trade-in value.
Unless you are really hardup for cash, the pc is worth a lot more to you, than the little bit of cash you can get for it. Even if you are very desperate for the cash, you’ll have to drop the price a bit, in order to sell it quicker, and that’s even worse. Furthermore, many people, like myself, just simply never buy 2nd hand pc parts…
Rahter hang on to that pc - sell something else, or borrow money if you’re desperate :slight_smile:

ahhh thanks man i think i’ll just keep it then. i don’t need the cash, i just never use it. it hasn’t been hooked up for about a year.
