I’m very new to Blender, have only been using it for 2 days and I’m making a masquerade type mask. I’ve got the basic shape down, but I’m not really sure how I can go about making the detail lines that these masks usually have like so: https://images.pier1.com/dis/dw/image/v2/AAID_PRD/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-pier1_master/default/dw766f2740/images/3056217/3056217_1.jpg?sw=1600&sh=1600&impolicy=Bypass. I’ve currently got this, https://imgur.com/a/0SAaP. I’ve tried sculpting with the draw/blob tool but it doesn’t really seem to work so well. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Use a separate object and model the lines over the existing mask by snapping on the surface and/or using shrinkwrap modifier.
Thanks for the reply and I think I get what you mean. So like, model the lines over a different object then put it on the mask? I’ll try it out and see how it goes.
