How the hell do you make aircraft textures??

Hi everyone! I’m planning on modeling an aircraft and had a question. How do you make the textures to map onto the aircraft? I know you have to use photoshop but other than that I have no clue. Can you guys recommend any good videos which show how to make them step-by-step? I’ve seen http://airplanes3d.net/wm-000_e.xml but the free versions are in Polish, translating them through Google and Microsoft Word have been a pain and they still aren’t properly translated.

I guess it’s UV unwrapping part that interests you the most?

Yeah, I want to know how to make the camo/texture that will go onto the plane’s body and everything related. I’ve watched a few minutes of that tutorial and I think that’s what I need.
